Equipment
1. Team swimsuit:
-The team suit can be ordered online at Welcome to Swimville USA. On the website, you will need to create an account before you can view the Valley View Team Store.
-Here are the Speedo sizing charts, if you need help determining what size to order:
-If you don’t want to order the team suit, that’s ok, as long as your swimmer wears a competitive green/black suit.
2. Goggles:
-Any swim goggles will work. Please note, snorkeling goggles are not made for competitive swimming. Please make sure the goggles your child chooses to wear are appropriate for competitive swimming. Many swimmers prefer to use metalized goggles for outdoor swimming, to help block some of the sun from their eyes.
3. Swim cap:
-Though not required, swim caps are highly recommended, especially during swim meets). Your swimmer will receive a Gators swim cap at registration. If they lose or break their Gators swim cap, a new cap can be purchased for $5 from Erinn Vollmer. If you do not want to purchase a new Gators cap, any black or green swim cap will work!
4. Team t-shirt:
-Each swimmer will receive a team t-shirt after they are registered. Please make sure to enter your child's t-shirt size correctly at registration, as those sizes are used to order each swimmer's shirt. Team shirts should be marked on the inside label with your last name, and swimmers should try to wear a team shirt (from the current or previous seasons) to every meet to show team pride and unity!
